    I also include basic HTML (header tags, meta descriptions and all that jazz) so your website designer (or you) knows exactly what copy goes where from an SEO perspective, too.

  • You’ll have so much fun deep diving into your website copy project with me. Before I even write one word. From understanding your goals to getting to know your audience, we spend a dedicated 90 minutes going through all the vital things I need to know to make sure your web copy works so hard for you.

  • Web copy that’s spot on first time around? It happens! But most the time, you need to feedback — and that is absolutely okay. It’s why I offer 2 rounds of revisions to make sure you’re totally happy with it. We’ll sit down (on Zoom) and go through any amendments, feedback and concerns you have — and then I’ll put them right for you. Editing is part of the process, and it’s all about making it enjoyable so you feel confident to submit your changes and receive final web copy you fully love.

    You’ll also receive initial concepts for your copy before I get to work - so you can be reassured I’m on the right path before the project begins.

  • Once your web copy is live, I’ll review it to make sure it’s formatted correctly - and working just as it should

  • After your discovery call, you’ll receive a proposal - detailing your project, costs and how it will work.

  • You read the proposal, and you’re so excited to get started! Send me an email to let me know you’d like to go ahead - and I’ll get you booked in.

  • Before we do anything, we’ll sit down and do the What Words? Workshop. This strategic deep-dive allows us to get 'under the skin' of your website goals.

    During the workshop, we will define your messaging, brand voice and SEO - helping you have a clear copy strategy going forward.

  • After the workshop, I will craft your topline web copy - so you can approve the key details before we add the nitty-gritty.

    If you’ve booked in for ‘The Everything’ package - this is where you’ll receive your brand guidelines too.

  • Once we’re happy with the initial concepts, I will go away and write your web copy. This part takes 2-3 weeks - so just sit back and relax. It won’t be long until you’re reading your new web copy.

  • You get the email you’ve been waiting for. Your words have arrived - and it’s time to sit down, grab yourself a cuppa (of coffee or a glass of vino) and truly immerse yourself in the copy.

  • Receiving your web copy is full of so much emotion! And while you’ll love most of it, there will be parts that need fine-tuning or changing. That’s totally okay and normal - and it’s why I have 2 rounds of video call revisions built into every project.

    Once we’re in the project, I’ll guide you through the feedback process - so you’ll know exactly what best to do.

  • Time to fly, web copy! At this point, we’ve finalised your web copy and you’re feeling super confident.

    Hand it over to your web designer or take the reigns yourself. Either way, we will make sure you’re ready to implement your new copy.

  • It’s not quite goodbye yet. Once you’ve uploaded your new copy, let me know. I’ll go over it and check that it’s formatted correctly (for SEO and your user experience), that all buttons work, and everything has gone over just as I planned.

  • A touchy question for a copywriter… I joke! I’m actually not against AI copywriting tools, and I think they have a purpose in many places. But not in my custom web copy. This web copy is written by a human, with real human lived experience for other humans.

    However, occasionally, I may ask ChatGPT to help me understand something. Give me prompts or suggest an alternative word. I see AI as an assistant, helping me out — but it never ever writes your copy.

  • It is me, Zoe, who writes your custom web copy. I create the strategy, guide the message and write those words. I don’t outsource any of that.

    However, I do have a small team who supports me with proofreading, editing and SEO. This means I do what I’m best at and then let other experts feed in — so you get the very best of each aspect.
